A Few Words from the Minolta Shooter on the NEX-5
And so, the task of finishing the Sony NEX5review was passed on to me, the Phoblographer’s resident Minolta shooter. Here, I’ll cover video briefly, and offer my final thoughts as a film shooter.
Shooting the US Open Today With Film
Of all the major annual sporting events, my favorite has to be the US Open Tennis Championships. The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is a beautiful complex, and during the first week of the Open, it’s incredible. There are so many matches to watch, and so many photos to take. The photographs featured were taken with my Minolta Maxxum Htsi-Plus, Minolta 135mm AF f/2.8, Minolta 70-210mm AF f/4, rolls of Kodak Gold 400, and a roll of Kodak 400TX.
Sony Announces New MP4 Bloggie Cameras
Today, Sony announced two new MP4 camcorders, the MHS-TS20 and MHS-TS10 Bloggie Touch cameras. Both can capture 1920×1080 HD MP4 video and 12.8 MP on 8GB or 4BG of internal memory respectively. The included software enables users to easily upload videos and photos to all of the popular sites; Facebook, flickr, and Youtube, among others. The TS20 and TS10 are available for $200 and $180 respectively. Press release is after the jump.
